Buddhist Monk on Change

A Buddhist Monk arrives in NYC and asks of the first person he meets,

"Make me one with everything."

A street hot dog vendor responded,

loading a hot dog with chili, onions & the works, he thrust it to the monk.

"$ 3, please."

The monk takes the hot dog, gives the vendor $ 2 and waits.

He looks back at the hot dog then the vendor.

"Isn't there change ?" he queries ?

That vendor had been to Tibet the year before, so he responds him;

"Change comes from within."
