Tony
Hayward cashed in about a third of his holding in the company one month before
a well on the Deepwater Horizon rig burst, causing an environmental disaster.

Hayward, whose pay package is £4 million a year, then paid off the
mortgage on his family’s mansion in

is no suggestion that he acted improperly or had prior knowledge that the
company was to face the biggest setback in its history.
His
decision, however, means he avoided losing more than £423,000 when BP’s share
price plunged after the oil spill began six weeks ago.
Since
he disposed of 223,288 shares on March 17, the company’s share price has fallen
by 30 per cent. About £40 billion has been wiped off its total value. The fall
has caused pain not just for BP shareholders, but also for millions of company
pension funds and small investors who have money held in tracker funds.
The
spill, which has still not been stemmed, has caused a serious environmental
crisis and is estimated to cost BP up to £40 billion to clean up.
There
was growing confidence yesterday that a new cap placed over the well was stemming
the oil flow. An estimated three million litres a day had been pouring into the
sea off the coast of

crisis has enraged US politicians, with President Obama yesterday forced to
cancel a trip to
Mr
Hayward, whose position is thought to be under threat, risked further fury by
continuing plans to pay out a dividend to investors next month.

Given that, and Susoni's earlier
(UK Telegraph) post about BP CEO Hayward selling off his personal shares of BP
stock before the oil "spill" suggests to me that this was no accident
but a "planned event."
Did you notice the date? It was
Adolf's (Adolph Hitler's) birthday (April 20) when the "spill"
started. There has been a history of bad "events" occurring on April
19 or 20..some think as an homage to Adolph.
Now more than six weeks later,
with BP failing (and US failing to act) to stop the oil leak, I conclude that
the failure is simply "following the script".
You know many astute and alert
readers have pondered whether another "9/11" type event will occur. I
think it has occurred, in the "endless oil" event at Deepwater
Horizon. Perhaps we did not "think outside the box" enough to
recognize it for what it is--it is a potential "extinction event" for
planet earth.

Convoys are coming from the west from desert areas to help escort people to the
FEMA Camps. Do you have any idea what will happen to us here inland when this
many people converge upon us? This is only the people from the Tampa Area.
If they evacuate people from the East Coast as well, 100s of millions will
be coming inland.
Benzene and oil is evaporating into the clouds over the sea and is drifting
inland where it is coming down with the rain. We will be in danger also. Our
fresh water will be polluted.
