What President Should Do - Lawman

Folks, when you vote for a President, please note that you do not select one.  The electoral college does that.  And its electors can ignore your vote, as some have in the past.

Nevertheless, if you consider that your vote has validity, cast it for a President who will obey the law of the land:  Constitution, treaties, laws pursuant thereto.  And remember that the Constitution got conditioned by organic law that preceded it - the Articles of Confederation, Northwest Ordnance, and Declaration of Independence.

The Constitution requires certain things of our federal government, and the President has the responsibility for enforcing the Constitution, according to its rules, and of continuing the implementation of the aims and provisions of organic law which the Constitution did not repeal or replace.  Under those the President has the responsibility for doing these thing:
  1. Initiate No war without a declaration of war by Congress
  2. Ensure that no state shall make anything but gold or silver coin tender in payment of debt
  3. Ensure that no Invasion occurs or persists
  4. Ensure that the states have republican forms of government
  5. Prevent the government from competing against businesses of the people
  6. Keep no standing army over 2 years
  7. Refuse to enforce any treaty or law not in keeping with the organic laws.
Do you know of any President in your lifetime who has performed accordingly?  I don't.  The President has
